If you are eligible for membership of the Scheme you will automatically become a member unless you are employed by an admission body in which case you would have to opt to join.
Schedule 2 Part 1 Bodies - A Scheme employer is a body defined within the Regulations and must participate in the Scheme.
Schedule 2 Part 2 Bodies - Like Part 1 bodies, these employers are defined within the Regulations. Part 2 bodies have the power to decide if an employee or group of employees can belong to the Scheme.
Admission Bodies - Is an employer that chooses to participate in the Scheme under an admission agreement. These tend to be employers such as charities and contractors.
