DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION ACT/ RACE RELATIONS ACT
- The Tyne and Wear Pension Fund treat all employees
fairly and equally. To assist individuals with special
needs when communicating with us, the Tyne and Wear
Pension Fund:
- participates in the language line interpreting telephone service. This is for individuals who are unable to communicate / comprehend because of language barriers. The language line service covers over 100 languages. To use the language line simply telephone or visit us and we can connect direct to the service.
- has an audio loop amplifier system which can assist hearing aid users who visit us.
- has a Minicom service available which offers a text telephone service. If you have use of a text telephone and wish to contact us in this way dial (0191) 424 4060 on the text telephone.
- can provide scheme literature in various formats to help individuals with special needs.
