Publications
Communicating with active, deferred and retired members is an essential part of the Tyne and Wear Pension Fund's operations.
The following types of publications are available from the Fund.
Scheme Booklets
The Fund has an extensive library of Scheme booklets. Those individuals with special needs can request information in Braille, large font, audio tape or via e-mail. Scheme leaflets can also be provided in a specific language on request.
Newsletters
The Fund publishes newsletters for both current and deferred members. The newsletters provide information and articles on topical issues on the Local Government Pension Scheme. Please let us know if there are any specific areas that you would like us to cover in future issues.
Members Annual Reports
The report is a summarised version of the Fund’s formal Report and Accounts. It sets out how the Fund is governed and it’s financial position. It also outlines the investment structure, describes the overall market environment during the year and shows how the Fund has performed. Finally, there is a brief summary of the main investment policies and the framework within which the Fund operates.
Annual Report and Accounts
The annual report and accounts includes information on the members of the Pensions Committee, investment managers, Advisors and Officers. It gives detailed information on how the Fund is governed and it’s financial position.
Fund Valuation Reports
This report provides information about the financial state of the Fund.
